# How to setup your X3 Device (Written Instructions)

| Step Two - Connect the HDMI Connect the included HDMI cable to the Generate X3 Device. | Step Three - Connect To Power Connect the included power cable to the Generate X3 Device. | Step Four- Connect Your IR Receiver  Connect the IR receiver to the device. This is used to communicate with your remote so placement is key. | Step 5 - Power on Your Device When all cables are connected correctly, turn your TV on and change your input to the HDMI input that your Generate X3 Device is plugged into. You should see your device automatically power on. |
