Step 1 - Grab the Divvy Remote and make sure your IR Receiver is Visible somewhere on your tv to receive the signal from your remote. Note: See photo of remote and Receiver to the right for Reference ![]()
Step 2 - Go to the Desktop by Clicking the Home button on your remote. This action will bring you to the home screen.
Step 3 - Open the Android Launcher. While on the desktop screen, arrow over and click "OK" on the android launcher icon.
Step 4 - Disable Monitoring Once the Android Launcher opens, you will see a black screen with a lot of text on it. On top portion of this screen there are a few options (Client Enable, Monitoring Enabled, Google Disabled… etc.) Here we want to disable monitoring by clicking on the Monitoring Enabled button in green. You’ll know that monitoring is disabled if this button turns red.
Step 5 - Disable the Client After disabling monitoring, you’ll need to disable the client. That button is located to the left of Monitoring button in the same row. Click the “Client Enabled” button in green to turn it off. You will know the client is disabled when the button reeds “Client Disabled” and the button turns red.
Step 6 - Go to Wifi Settings. In the same row of buttons, to the right of “Google Disabled” you will see an option for WiFi Settings. Click this button to enter the WiFi settings screen.
Step 7 - Make sure Wifi is turned On In the sidebar on the left, the first option you will see will toggle the Wi-Fi either on or off. If the Wi-Fi is in the OFF position, click this option to turn WiFi ON.
Step 8 - Find Your Wifi Network On the right side, you’ll see a list of all available WiFi networks.* Scroll through this list until you get to your WiFi network. Open you WiFi Network settings by click on the name of your WiFi network.
Step 9 - Enter your WiFi Credentials After you’ve click your WiFi network name you will be prompted to enter you WiFi credentials. It’s often useful to select the “Show Password” option before entering in your details. Enter your WiFi network password. Note you might have to hit the return arrow on your remote to get back from the keyboard in order to click "Connect"
This will close the pop-up and bring you back to the main WiFi settings page. In the list of WiFi networks on the right, verify that your network has the words “Connected” underneath it. If there are any other works, you device will not be connected to the WiFi Network. Step 10 - Reload the Android Launcher At this point you should be connected to WiFi. Congratulations! Navigate to the desktop screen by clicking the home button on your remote control. Once there you can reload the Android Launcher by click on the Generate Icon
Step 11 - Enable Client and Monitoring The last step is to reenable the client and monitoring by clicking on their buttons in the top row. These should both turn green after being clicked. This will connect your device to our network and start the launching process. Once enabled you only have to wait a few seconds and the generate application will load.
